Important update: sales of eLearning modules are temporarily paused
Sales to Â鶹Դ´’s eLearning modules have been temporarily paused until the 14 October.
From Monday 14 October 2024 you’ll be able to access Â鶹Դ´’s eLearning modules on our new learning management system, which will provide an improved experience for customers accessing and completing our eLearning modules. All the existing modules will be available to purchase on the new platform, except for the CQC modules which are currently being updated and will be available from the end of October.
If you’ve already purchased eLearning modules you can continue to access the modules by logging into your Â鶹Դ´ account, selecting the ‘Virtual learning environment’ button and following the on-screen instructions.
Any queries please contact LMSenquiries@skillsforcare.org.uk.
Our eLearning modules are free of charge and offer the opportunity to receive a completion certificate at the end of each module (or a single certificate for all seven modules if they are all completed).
Each module supports adult social care staff to develop their knowledge and confidence in using digital technology, Â鶹Դ´ was commissioned by the NHS Transformation Directorate to develop a suite of free-to-access ‘bitesize’ digital skills eLearning modules, in line with the Digital Skills Framework.
Module content
The eLearning modules were shaped and co-developed with people within adult social care, including care providers, local authorities, people drawing on care and support and subject matter experts.
The modules are designed to support people working in adult social care to gain knowledge and understanding on how digital, data and technology is used in the sector.
Each module has a set of three learning chapters and objectives. They may each take longer to complete if wider learning materials and resources are accessed within each module.
The seven modules
- using technology to support person-centred care
- technical skills in using technology
- communicating through technology
- using and managing data
- being safe and secure online
- ethical use of technology
- digital learning, development and wellbeing.
Access the modules
- Learners need to to their Â鶹Դ´ account (or for an account if they don’t already have one) and select the ‘Virtual Learning Environment’ button on the dashboard.
